Situation: the cmo of method roasters (in the leeds library) is interested in the viability of adding classroom delivery service. through the method app, students or faculty could order coffee and food items to be delivered to classrooms in koelbel or the engineering building, guaranteed to arrive between classes. billing would be automatic and method would charge a small delivery fee. assume there are no restrictions on consuming food or drinks in cu classrooms. (that will be easy for many of you.)
research problem definition:
identify the size and frequency of demand for method’s delivery service.
exploratory: ethnographic research
one type of exploratory research is ethnography, the observation and study of a group to identify behavioral and emotional reactions. you have been part of your bcor 2201section for 3 weeks. in that time, you’ve observed various aspects of how we function as a group. list 3 observations will us solve the research problem
2. descriptive research
descriptive research gathers data that describes a market’s characteristics.

3. causal/experimental research
causal research attempts to learn how people react to different stimulus, like a change in packaging or price. design an experiment that will us solve the research problem. remember that in experimental design, you measure the effect of changing only one variable .i. e, a change in price or packaging, but not both at the same time..
