As a preparation for your group mechanism design project, you are tasked the following: identify a mechanism that you would like to work on for your project. research this mechanism and provide a 1 page summary (including cad pictures and links) of its function and why it is suitable for the project. a peer-reviewed journal of the mechanism is preferred. notes: keep the following in mind while selecting your mechanism
> you will perform the synthesis and analysis techniques learned in class to design your selected mechanism.
> all mechanisms should be a six bar or higher including at least a geared component and/or a cam.
> all mechanisms should be powered by a crank or a single motor.
> all design mechanisms are expected to be used for educational purposes.
