put value of Y in hardy weinberg equation

(0.72)² + 2q(0.72) + q²= 1

0.51 + 1.44q = 1

1.44q + q² = 1-0.51

1.44q + q² = 0.48

q²= 0.48 / 1.44q

multiply and divide both side by q we will get

q = 0.33
