I'm not trying to make this complicated but, a tree is a plant cell ok. A plant converts CO2 which is Carbon Dioxide into Oxygen right? We as humans do the total opposite. The only difference is that an animal cell only has the cell membrane making it semi-permeable which means some things in and some things out. A plant cell has a cell membrane and a cell wall making it twice the protection.
