Where does the first stage of cellular respiration take place and what happens to the carbon atom? pls i'll mark the brainliest!

The first place it takes place in is the midocondria and what happens to the carbon atom is that the midocondria breaks down the carbon dioxide and makes it in to glucose and then it is expelled through out the plant
