Sulfa drugs are a class of antibiotics used to treat gram negative bacteria like Sue. this is due to the sulfanilamide structure ( molecular ) of the sulfa drugs, which enables it to penetrate the cell walls of the gram negative bacteria ( like Sue ).

Sulfa drugs are also synthetic in nature. Penicillin is an effective antibiotic class of drug but it cannot penetrate the cell walls of gram negative bacteria.

Hence we can conclude that the best class of antibiotics that should be prescribed for Sue is Sulfa Drugs
