Write a short note on Vitello-intestinal duct

The vitellointestinal duct provides nutrition to the early developing embryo. The duct provides a communication between the primitive yolk sac on the ventral side of the embryo and the midgut loop through the umbilical coelom.

The vitelline duct (VD) is an embryonic structure providing communication from the yolk sac to the midgut during fetal development
