Look at the reaction pathways shown in the graph. How is the reaction different with the enzyme than without it? How is it similar?

The red line show that Activation energy decreases with the enzyme while the activation energy increases without the enzyme. This could be caused by the reaction rate being above the enzyme's optimum temperature which can denature the substrate and cause it to slow down. The difference is the rates of the reactions and the similarity is that they’re both still creating reactants, just at much different rates due to different situations
