November 16th, 2021 TCT Answer Sheet Cindy's research proposed several ideas for armadillo movement including opportunity for new
habitat, change in climate, food availability, reproduction numbers, hunting pressures, and the
ability to swim well. Based on what she read, Cindy claims that climate change is the primary
cause for the armadillo migration.
You are provided with the research Cindy used to make her claim. Read and evaluate this
research that Cindy found about armadillo migratory patterns and the planting zones.
YOU need to develop an argument that either supports or refutes Cindy's claim that climate
change is the primary cause for armadillo migration. You must support your argument with
evidence from Cindy's research and explain your reasoning! You must use a claim, evidence,
and reasoning to support your argument. You should have at least four total paragraphs. The
claim wil respond to your support or not supporting for Cindy's research. The evidence is factual
information from the research provided, and the reasoning will be your knowledge (from the
research and from class) to help explain why your evidence supports your claim.

The dna in a cell’s nucleus encodes proteins that are eventually targeted to every membrane and compartment in the cell, as well as proteins that are targeted for secretion from the cell. for example, consider these two proteins: phosphofructokinase (pfk) is an enzyme that functions in the cytoplasm during glycolysis. insulin, a protein that regulates blood sugar levels, is secreted from specialized pancreatic cells. assume that you can track the cellular locations of these two proteins from the time that translation is complete until the proteins reach their final destinations.for each protein, identify its targeting pathway: the sequence of cellular locations in which the protein is found from when translation is complete until it reaches its final (functional) destination. (note that if an organelle is listed in a pathway, the location implied is inside the organelle, not in the membrane that surrounds the organelle.)
