PLZ HEL How does the structure of a protein compare to the structure of a nucleic acid? Proteins are composed of repeating units, while nucleic acids are composed of non-repeating units.
Proteins and nucleic acids both have an R group which give them unique characteristics.
They are both composed of repeating units called monomers.
Proteins are composed of ring like structures while nucleic acids are branching.
