Because Bloede dam was no longer functioning as a hydroelectric generation plant it was an easy environmental decision to remove the dam. What would you say if the dam was still generating electricity for the area, should it be taken out or allowed to remain, even though the chad and eels and herring can not go upstream to reproduce?
