Why shouldn't a microscope get wet​

A microwave shouldn’t get wet because since lake the microwave works with power like electricity to function and you putting water in there it will cause fire in will cause it to burn down wait no it won’t cause it to burn down it will caused some damage but not only the microwave will be in damage but I think the oven as well might be in a bit of damage because if like it starts burning in some of the microwave parts to have fire in it get it to them oven then that my dad said not only the microwave but your whole entire kitchen if you plan on putting water into your microwave like it depend on it is it like a water in a cup or is it just like regular water you splash it on there if it’s a water in a cup then there’s not really much of a big deal minute but if you to splashing water in there I would recommend you get a paper towel or towel and Wipe it out when you’re done because you don’t want the microwave to have water and then you putting something in it not knowing that the water is finish drying in that might cause damages to not your only food but everything else in the kitchen so I would be
