A Invasive species can out compete native species when they are introduced outside of their
natural environment. This can threaten a region's
ecosystems, economy, and society. Recently, Canadian
researchers helped identify 15 new bird species
through genetic analysis. Scientists were able to
identify so many new species by analyzing and
comparing the DNA of over 600 North American bird
