Describe interactions you have with the
environment that you depend on to meet
your basic needs.

There are 5 basic things that we need to live. These are 1) oxygen, 2) water, 3) food, 4) energy, and 5) shelter.

We satisfy these needs from our environment.
1) Plants produce the oxygen that we breathe.
2) Our bodies are 70% water and we need to drink water to keep healthy and hydrated. There are fresh water sources to sustain us.
3) We also need food for nourishment. We eat fruits and vegetables as well as meat from livestock.
4) From the food we eat, we get energy to keep our body functioning well. 
5) We use wood, stones, gravel to build our shelter which protects us from the elements and predators. 

We are the stewards of the world, it is our duty to ensure that every living and non living thing are being taken cared of and that balance is maintained. Our needs are being met by our environment, we must ensure that future needs can also be satisfied by taking care of our environment now.
