What type of severe weather would most likely decrease biodiversity by destroying sea turtle nest and hatchlings

Sea turtles are unique because they lay eggs and hatch on the terrain while they go and live out in the sea. During very hot summer seasons, the shore gets very warm. This can have an impact on the imbalance of their diversity. Sea turtles lay their eggs by burying under the sand. Scientists have studied that eggs incubated in much colder regions come out as male, and in the warmer regions are female. In the long run, the females would dominate over the males which could affect their reproductive generation.

Another impact of global warming is the rising of sea level. Ice in the polar region causes this. When the water level rises, it leaves less room for the hatching of the eggs. Sea turtles go back to the place where they hatch to mate. Through time, they won't have somewhere to go back to because those beaches might have sunked already.
