The dependence on fossil fuel is leading to excessive extraction of fossils from deep beneath the earth crust to form petroleum products. The formation of fossil fuels take million of years but its usage from extraction to burning hardly takes few days. Thus it is leading our next generation towards an unsustainable world devoid of fossil fuels. Burning of fossil fuels leads to release of gases like methane, carbon dioxide , sulphur dioxide and others which not only pollute the environment but also deplete the ozone layer thereby causing global warming due to green house effect
