Compare and contrast the main characteristics of the alpine and taiga biomes.

There are several things that are similar and different with the alpine and taiga biomes. But there is one main difference. The main difference between the two biomes is that the alpine biome is much colder than the taiga. The Alpine's summers are colder than the Taiga. Both, however can get dramatically below 0° C during the winter. Both, however have mountainous landscapes. And another thing the have in common is it doesn’t have the four seasons. And it’s also always cold in both biomes. Yes one isn’t as cold as the other but the are both cold almost all year round. So as you can see, that’s comparing and contrasting the alpine and the taiga biomes.
