In deep rivers there will be more accumulation of sediments obtained from water erosion of rocks and soils having as compared to shallow and narrow rivers where surface of deposition of sediments is less. Fast- moving rivers will not allow sediments to deposit because of fast water currents. Therefore, fish that feed on sediment will most likely to be found in deep rivers. Â
