Natural selection and Artificial Selection are both processes by which some species are more likely to survive than others.

In Artificial selection, humans interact in this selection. For example in Mendel´s experiment about the pea flowers, he got to choose which species would cross and survive. Eventhough the result was aleatory, he choose; this is why it is artificial. It happens now a days when for example, flower producers want to produce an specific type of flower.

In Natural Selection, species  with all their characteristics which have been accumulated thanks to an aleatory occurence of mutations, will tend to survive or not in an aleatory way. According to Darwin, species mutate and this mutation will make the species be stronger (population growth) or weaker (population reduction). There is no human hand in the selection
