How many kinds of alternative energy sources are there and can you plz tell me the names and what they do

One source is solar radiation used by plants and other photoautotrophes to produce food
chemical energy is used by chemoautotrophes and also all living organisms in metabolism

Kinds of Alternative Energy Sources : 

i.Solar Energy : Solar energy is the energy from the sun that is converted into                                 thermal or electrical energy.They are used 
ii.Wind Energy : Wind energy is used to to generate electricity using wind power                             and it is also a form of solar energy.
iii.Geothermal Energy : It is the heat from beneath the earth.It is used to make                                             electricity through steams from beneath the earth by                                                 geothermal power plants.
iv.Hydroelectric Energy : When water flows it creates energy that can be caught                                            and turned into electricity.
v.Biomass Energy : It is derived from organic matter or living organisms to use                                     as a source of energy.
vi.Ocean Energy : When water moves in oceans it creates energy in move                                           (kinetic energy) this can be tackled to convert into electricity.
vii.Hydrogen Energy : It can be extracted from water.
