Frogs are very carefree parents and thus unlike other adult species of animals who take care of their young ones for making them enable to survive, frogs do not look after their young ones and this is the reason that out of three to four thousands eggs produced at a time by female only 4 to 5 eggs survive till adulthood.  

In order to make the cycle moving from one generation to other, frogs overproduce eggs so that at least a few of all survive till adult hood and reproduce further.
