Describe two ways that steroids differ from fats.

The differences refer to chemical structure and functions: 
1-Structure: 
Fats:These are simpler than phospholipids. They are all triacylglycerols. 

Steroids:The most (in)famous steroid is cholesterol,and the main structure of 
steroids is from cholesterol (cholic acid) 
2-Function 
Fats:They are best known for forming the cell structure in our cells. The so called lipid bi-layer. 

Steroids:they regulate pregnancy, blood pressure, inflammation and sexual development.
