Explain why a person with brain damage may be able to see perfectly well, but not recognize faces.​

Some people with a brain injury acquire a condition known as prosopagnosia(pronounced pro-so-pag-no-sia), or ‘face blindness’. People with the condition cannot tellthe difference between faces, an ability most of us take for granted. They may not evenrecognise the faces of their closest friends and family, or their own face in the mirror.
