For this assignment, consider the processes that create coastal rock formations. While these processes create beautiful and interesting rock formations, they are also often highly destructive. Think for example
what could happen to a town that is near the sea and has buildings being exposed to the same forces that
create sea cliffs, arches, and stacks.
How do you think those buildings stand up against the forces of the waves? Describe what you think
happens to buildings exposed to sea erosion and then suggest ways that the destruction associated with
this force can be stopped for people who live in towns near the coast. Be sure to have both parts in your
answer!
