The lab uses 2 tubes of E. coli cells, one of which had the plasmid added, and the other tube of E. coll which did not have plasmid added. Cells from each tube will be placed onto two kinds of growth plates.
One type of plate was made with the antibiotic ampicillin added to the growth medium; the other type
of plate was made without ampicillin in the growth medium. Below is a chart of each plate.
