If there would have an imbalance of certain enzymes in the body then the body will not perform certain metabolic reactions. The enzymes are biological catalysts that increases the rate of reaction and decrease the time required to complete the reaction. If there will be an imbalance in the body of certain enzymes that particular reactions would be hampered. The reactions of the body are inter-related and if one reaction of the body is affected then other functions of the body will also be affected by it.

The metabolic reactions in the body would not happen properly if there was an imbalance of certain enzymes in the body.
