Hydrophobic is water fearing so this will be the inside or between.

Hydrophilic is water loving so this will be in direct contact with the water so it should go at two places.

The plasma membrane is AMPHIPATHIC (important word) meaning it was two sides a water loving and water fearing side. The circle is polar meaning is wants to make contact with water and the middle is non polar meaning it doesn’t want to be near water
