Use the following notes from a fictional experiment testing the effects of acid rain on seed germination. The hypothesis predicted that acid rain would decrease seed germination. Radish
seeds were divided into two groups of 10; control and experimental. Each were placed in the
same size pots and the same type of soil. They were given the same amount of water except
the experimental group's water was acidic. With a pH of 4 on the pH scale. The results showed
a 70% decrease in germination rate and a delayed germination in the 20% that did germinate in
the experimental group.
Write an introduction as though you were writing a lab report for a scientific journal. The
objective of the assignment is for you to experience how to write a lab report. As this is fictional
lab, you are able to expand on the details in the above experiment. This will take you three
paragraphs to complete.
