Can Chromatin be called a process?

I believe it could be called a process.

Explanation:

DNA wraps itself around histone proteins to form nucleosomes and the beads on a string structure. Multiple histones wrap into a 30-nanometer fibre consisting of nucleosome arrays in their most compact form. The higher-level DNA supercoiling of the 30-nm fiber produces the metaphase chromosome. Which occurs during Mitosis and Meiosis. There are some chromosomes that do not follow this alignment. The overall structure weighs on the stage of the cell cycle.
