1. Review your beginning - look back on Lesson 3.04 for ideas on how to begin your story. Do not begin your story with a question.
2. Using the ideas from your Narrative Organization Chart, write the body of your
narrative.
3. Your chart should be based on the story on values on which you have been working.
4. Review Lesson 3.06, the ideas you created in your Narrative Organization Chart and
the exposition of your story,
5. In your body, be sure to include:
o rising action (two events) and climax
o sensory language to make your story vivid
o dialogue to make your characters more realistic and advance the story
o 300 words or more for the body
6. Write the ending of your story. Review Lesson 3.08 for ideas on ending your story.
7. Revise for word choice - sensory language, dialogue, tone/mood. Your story should be
500-700 words.
8. Edit for spelling and punctuation. Remember to use MLA format.
9. Turn in here for grading.
