How respiration and photosynthesis are important to one another?

without photosynthesis, there would not be any glucose or oxygen and those are what start off the respiration reaction. without respiration plants would use up all CO2 and starve to death. photosynthesis requires the products from respiration and vise-versa.

in a chemical reaction, the atoms and molecules produced by the reaction are called products. no new atoms are created, and no atoms are destroyed. in a chemical reaction, reactants contact each other, bonds between atoms in the reactants are broken, and atoms rearrange and form new bonds to make the products.
