The available energy in the African savanna is  Higher than  the available energy in the Marine ecosystem

The African savanna is located closer to the Equator and maintains a temperature of around 20 to 30° C due to the availability of enough sunlight reaching the soil and the vegetation found in the African savanna. also there is enough rainfall all year round.

The availability of sunlight and rainfall year round makes the energy levels in the African savanna higher than the energy available in Marine ecosystem.

The Marine ecosystem which consists of Freshwater water and salt water bodies have less sunlight penetrating through them and this negatively affects the available energy ( chemical / heat ) present in the marine ecosystem.

Hence we can conclude that The available energy in the African savanna is Higher than the available energy in the Marine ecosystem.
