During the interphase the cell is preparing for the actual division - the cell is getting bigger, there is synthesis of proteins, enzymes and mRNA, also the DNA in the cell goes through replication and Energy is accumulated in ATP.

The Prophase is a part of the kariokinesis and the most important thing that happens here is that the dividing spindle is built, so the hromosomes can be splitet correctly.

The Metaphase is also a part of the kariokinesis and during that time the hromosomes are already attached to the dividing spindle and are taking place on the equatorial plane.

In the anaphase (also from the kariokinesis) the hromatides are separating into the two poles of the cell.

In the Teloohase (also from the kariokinesis) starts the formation of two nucleuses.

During the cytokinesis the body of the cell is separated into two new cells.
