Describe how the temperature of water changes as water changes from a solid to a liquid and then to a gas.

When solidice gains heat, it changes state

from solid ice to liquid water in a process

called melting.

When water absorbs enough

heat, it becomes a gas(water

vapor).This process is called

evaporation.

So, in conclusion we can say Water Ice(solid) changes from solid to liquid(water) when it comes into contact with heat whiles Liquid(water) changes from its state to gas(water vapour) when it also comes into contact with heat.
