In an ecosystem, organisms compete for different resources. Intraspecific competition occurs when there’s competition for resources between members of the same species. What do you think the word interspecific refers to? Give an example with your explanation.

Interspecific variation is the differences between members of different species. It is the widest type of variation and it is actually the one that is used to separate members of different species. Example: a mouse has four legs, teeth and fur, whereas a bird has two legs, two wings, a beak and feathers.
