Saccharides are the chemichal name for compounds that are sugars, and the pre-fix mono means one, so a monosaccharid is a sugar that can not be further hidrolized, this are the simplest form of sugar and amor them are glucose, fructose and galactose, the fructose is the sugar that is found in fruits and galactose is the sugar that is found in milk.

organisms that lack symmetry are called asymmetrical and belong to phylum porifera/sponges.

organisms with specialized stinging cells belong to phylum cnidaria. stinging cells are called cnidoblast cells.

cnidarians show two morphological forms : polyp (sessile) and medusa (mobile)

filter feeding is observed in porifera members.
