I need help ASAP! During replication, the strands of a double stranded DNA separate when the bonds are broken between their paired bases.
Explain why, in terms of the genetic code, it is important that the molecule separated between the bases and not at some other point. (Remember the bases are letters that spell out specific traits for the organisms).
