In the cucumber, leaves are typically palmate, but a gene is known
which causes the leaves to be fan shaped. The latter is called Gingko
leaves, as they resemble the leaves of that tree. Each type breeds
true, but when the two are crossed, the P1 is all palmate. Which gene
