Written in this form: Genus species (genus capitalized, species remains lower case, entire name is italicized if typed or underlined if handwritten). 1. Taxonomical scheme: First, divide up all your organisms into two kingdoms based on shared characteristics, then break each kingdom into phyla. From there, you can decide how many genera you want in each phylum, then assign species to each genus.
