Describe how oxygen enters a red blood cell from the alveoli in the lungs?

Oxygen enters a red blood cell from the alveoli in the lungs due to the process called diffusion. In alveoli, the concentration of oxygen is higher as compared to the red blood cell so oxygen moves from high concentrated region i. e. Alveoli to the lower concentrated region i. e. red blood cell until the concentration is uniform. So red blood cell take this oxygen from the lungs to all cells.
