Deforestation is the removal of heavily treed areas usually in the tropical regions of the world. One cause of deforestation is human removal of these areas for building structures in other areas of the world and effect associated more buildings for humans to populate. 
Urbanization is heavily populated centers such as a metro city. One cause is the gathers of people in a central location due to high demand of resources coming into and out of that location(e.g San Fransisco being a port city).
