Determine the direction of a GEOSTROPHIC CURRENT (GC) in the Northern Hemisphere between hydrographic stations A & B (as shown below in the figure) for the two sets of conditions - (a) & (b) and shown in (I) and (II) below. Note: In all of the following sections of this HW, use a piece of scrap paper (as you would on the exam) to draw the two Hydrographic stations shown below, and then mark on that paper the relative densities at each station and draw the slope that is produced (from A to B or B to A, for example). This will help you visualize all of the questions and write the correct answers.
