How im going to remember the calvin cycle

Light independent reactions of photosynthesis is called Calvin cycle.

Explanation:

Calvin cycle is the light independent reactions of photosynthesis. It takes place inside the stroma and is not directly dependent on sunlight.  The Calvin cycle depends on the products of light reaction that uses sunlight.

Thus there is an indirect dependence of Calvin cycle on sunlight. In Calvin cycle the carbon dioxide is fixed from inorganic form to organic form. Three steps of Calvin cycle are fixation, reduction and regeneration. In fixation 6 molecules of 3-PGA are formed by the reaction of carbon dioxide with RuBP in the presence of the enzyme RuBisCO.  

In the reduction step 3-PGA is reduced to G3P molecules. The reduction step used energy from ATP and NADPH. In the regeneration step G3P is sent out of the chloroplast into the cytoplasm and it is used to make  compounds that the plant requires.
