Barium enema: fluoroscopic and radiographic examination of the colon reveals normal retrograde flow of barium through all segments of the large bowel and into the terminal ileum. no diverticula or other filling defects are demonstrated. terminal ileum is not unusual. the post-evacuation response is normal, and no alteration of the mucosal pattern is demonstrated.
