Energy is often flowed in cyclic intervals in a viable ecosystem. It can be passed on either with specific food containing nutrients or minerals or any sort of product emitting certain amount of energy been passed on to another member of any food chain.

Explanation:

Photosynthesis is an important process in the transferring of energy in food chain as it acts like an intermediate of energy containing in itself to accommodate the producers with essential nutrients. Hence the chemicals which have been transferred in the form of food is cycled throughout and released upon the decay where they are available again to the producers.Through photosynthesis the energy from sun is transferred to specific plants and animals hence continuing the food chain which later dissipates in the form of heat.
