Everglade is a subtropical wetland with great biodiversity.  Microbes, plants,wildlife and other animals are inhabiting there.In early 20th century its size is reduced due to human intervention such as building homes and  performing agriculture. The U.S. Government divides Everglades into two parts one part is assigned to Everglades national park and the other one is mainly for agriculture.

Everglades plays a key role in the preservation of wildlife,plants and animals.Several million acres of saw grass,mangroves are found on the banks of inland. A wide variety of animal species inhabit in everglades like american alligator,American crocodile and everglade alligator etc.The American crocodile is an endangered species now. Everglade National park are an important component of our ecosystem. The ecosystem of the Everglades is on the extinction due to water diversion for the human use.Which interrupts the food chain and food web of Everglade.If Everglade faces drought the flora and fauna will affect certainly.
