a. no; chimpanzees are more closely related to orangutans than to humans.
b. it's complicated; we evolved from living apes but not specifically chimpanzees
c. no; while we are most closely related to chimpanzees, humans and chimpanzees evolved from a common ancestor and chimpanzees have also evolving (just as the human lineage has) since that split. grandma, one living species did not evolve from another!
