Moles are rodents that are very similar to mice. they live underground, spending most of their lives below the earth's surface, in the dark. mice, on the other hand, may dig burrows to nest and sleep in, but they spend much of their time above ground. mice also may build nests out of found materials, like cloth or grass. this difference in habitat has moles develop differently than mice. what adaptation would we expect to see in moles, but not in mice?
