If horizontal layers of sedimentary rock have a vertical fault running through them, how might a geologist use relative dating to determine when the fault occurred?

A geologist can definitely use relative dating to determine when the fault occurred. He can do it by studying and determining when the fault occurred by observing the index fossils present in each layer of the rock. They can easily match rock layers over distances to determine the time of the occurring of the fault.

Ibelieve the answer is relative humidity  because it makes more sense that way. solar flares usually occur in space it doesn't affect the earth, well it could but it wont make a significant damage.  latitude is land it doesnt do anything. prevailing winds, i dont know the correct meaning for this but i doubt that affects the land so it has to be relative humidity.
