in a forest, lynx prey on rodents and birds in the summer. but because of rising temperatures, the birds in the forest have migrated to a cooler place. what effect will this migration have on the population of the rodents? because there are fewer birds, the lynx will prey on rodents, leading to in their population. this scenario competition.

For the first blank it would be a decline in the  lynx's population, because when there is a rise in a population it means there are going to be more of that species, stagnancy is when there is a stagnant smelling pond, bad smelling. for the second blank direct competition for the survival/food, because thats an animals nature, to survive at all costs, while Intraspecific means produced/producing, occurring, or existing within a species or between individuals of a single species of animal, while Apparent means clearly visable/obvious.
